Not sure about Instagram

I still use Instagram, mainly to look at other artist's work but I have not been regularly posting for a while. I have gone from a daily post for over a year to one post this year and it is now November. I knew that I was in transition with what I wanted to make and didn't want to show work incase I didn't stay with it or other people liked it and then I would think I should stay with it.

Instagram has changed with the emphasis moving to video and more recently Threads. I have seen videos and posts by artists who have complained that their work is not being seen like before because of the new algorithm. I am not leaving Instagram, but I am not relying on it either. Because my work has changed a lot I removed a lot of the posts I had some time ago. I recently saw someone set up a duplicate site incase they lost access to their first site which does happen.

I am trying to get into the habit of posting on this site which I prefer because I can control it better.
